Reports, Arrests and Citations

Incident Reports:

May 16th, LCSO took and completed an investigation into a violation of an order of protection taking place in Chillicothe.  Incident report to be forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for consideration of charges.

May 19th, LCSO took a report of property damage in the area of LIV 419 and LIV 420 to property/land.  Issue was resolved upon speaking to suspected party with an incident report to be kept on file.

May 20th, LCSO completed an investigation into illegal dumping occurring at the Chillicothe Municipal Utilities Burn Site.  An agreement was reached between the involved persons and the company without further issue.

May 23rd, LCSO completed an investigation into illegal dumping occurring at the C.M.U. burn site.  This issue was resolved by the involved parties and criminal charges are not pending with a report to be kept on file.

May 24th, LCSO took two reports of potential harassment taking place in the 400 block of N. Main in Ludlow.  Investigations Continue.

 

 Arrests:

May 17th, deputies arrested Joshua Caudill, 36, Wheeling on a Livingston County Arrest Warrant for failing to obey judge's orders on Case # 23LV-CR00412-01 in the 400 block of Wise Street in Chillicothe for an original charge of unlawful possession of a firearm.  Caudill was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center on the no bond warrant.

May 17th, deputy arrested Darrell Page Jr., 35, Wheeling for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license second offense on State Highway B near U.S. Highway 36 in Wheeling.  Page was processed and released on traffic summons.

May 18th, deputy arrested Terry Nichols Sr., 60, Chillicothe for felony driving while revoked on LIV 261 near State Highway K in Chula.  Nichols was processed and released on summons to appear in Livingston County Court.

May 18th, deputy arrested Christopher Vaughn, 41, Mooresville on a Livingston County arrest warrant on Case # 24LV-CR00093 for failing to appear on a no insurance charge in the 1100 block of Cherry Street in Mooresville.  Vaughn posted $200 cash bond and was released with a new court date.

May 18th, deputy arrested Terry Palmer, 52, Braymer, for driving while intoxicated on State Highway C Just South of U.S. Highway 36.  Palmer was processed and released on summons.

May 24th, deputy served two Livingston County Arrest Warrants on Terry Nichols Sr., 60, Chillicothe for failing to obey judge's order on charges of DWI-Persistent and driving while revoked and driving while revoked.  Nichols turned himself in on the warrants and was released after posting combined $15,000 in bond.

Citations:

May 22nd, John Coats, 52, Kansas was issued a citation for traveling 90 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 267.
