Help Support the Sheriff's Office
We are often asked how people can help support law enforcement and your sheriff's office. The best advice we offer is to share with us when you suspect criminal activity. It could simply be a tip on a drug house or any other suspicious behavior.
Other ways to help the Office of Sheriff are supporting all Missouri Sheriff's through the Missouri Sheriffs' Association (MSA) through citizen or business membership. The dues go to advancing the office of sheriff and for training for all Missouri Sheriffs, Deputies, and for the Detention Officers and Dispatchers. Our local training funds are not enough to continue to provide top quality training for the ever changing demands, laws and trends in our society. (Web links are on our home page.)
Locally we welcome any donations to our Secret Santa and Outstanding Student/Citizenship programs. (Click on Community Outreach tab.)
We accept donations of stuffed animals and other items to be shared with children in need.
If you wish to make a contribution please call us at 660-646-0515 and ask to speak with Captain Sindy Thomas or Sheriff Steve Cox.
Far above any donation the biggest support we ask for is your trust and willingness to report criminal activity, be a witness, and stand up for what is right. In doing so it makes our job much easier and can help many others from becoming a crime victim.
