April 8 the LCSO began an investigation of harassment. This has been a lengthy investigation involving multiple communications. A report was submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of charges.
The LCSO is completing an incident report from April 24 of 2 disruptive people at the Livingston County Courthouse for the prosecutor to consider criminal charge(s).
April 20 the LCSO began an investigation of theft of a Honda Foreman 4 wheeler and Trailer from a property on Liv 430. Investigation is continuing.
April 21 the LCSO began an investigation of attempted break-in to a residence in Mooresville. Damage to the door jamb was reported. Investigation continues.
April 26 the LCSO investigated a domestic disturbance in Utica. The investigation did not support any act of physical violence, alcohol and/or illicit drug use was believed to be a significant contributing factor. Additional service/investigation was provided.
April 26 the LCSO began an investigation of Identity Theft and Fraud. Victim reported learning from a debt collection agency of their identity having been used in another state which charged up a large bill. Investigation continues.
April 24 the LCSO arrested Amy Dawn Brauer, 43, Chillicothe, on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class C felony Receiving Stolen Property. Ms. Brauer was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail in lieu of bond.
April 20 a deputy issued a Laredo driver a speeding citation for 84 in a 65 on U.S. 36 at Liv 419.
April 22 a deputy issued a Chillicothe driver a speeding citation for 73 in a 55 on Highway 190 at Liv 237.
April 25 a deputy issued an Illinois driver a speeding citation for 85 in a 65 on U.S. 36 at the Grand River.
April 25 a deputy issued a Mooresville driver a citation for no vehicle insurance at Liv 425 and U.S. 36.
The LCSO recently received notice of incident from the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail (DDCRJ) regarding a maximum security detainee and the potential need to temporarily house that person in another facility. The detainee is reported to have smeared feces all over the cell area, was eating his/her own feces, and throwing human waste and fluids at the DDCRJ staff.
Currently the LCSO has 23 people in custody at the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.
The LCSO has remained very busy with a variety of on-going criminal investigations, Court, Courthouse Security, assisting the Missouri State Highway Patrol and other agencies on calls and investigations, Civil Process, and other statutory obligations.
