November 4 a deputy took a report of a theft from outside of a residence in Wheeling. The matter is currently being investigated.
November 10, a deputy took a report of property damage to a mail box from a residence located in the 10000 block of LIV 525.
November12, LCSO responded to a report of a domestic dispute in Ludlow. This dispute was verbal in nature and one party left the residence. LCSO was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
November 13, LCSO investigated a reported domestic violence situation in Wheeling. Officers arrested a 32 year old male of Wheeling, for alleged domestic assault, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The individual was transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail and a report will be forwarded to the Livingston County Prosecutor for consideration of charges.
November 13 a deputy assisted the MSHP with a traffic accident on Old Highway 190. This incident was investigated by the MSHP.
October 31 a deputy made traffic stop on US 36 near the LIV 401 and subsequently arrested A Mot, 41, Kansas City, MO, for alleged driving while suspended. Mr. Mot was processed and released on summons to appear in Associate Court.
October 31 a deputy was following up on an investigation in Chula and subsequently arrested Keith Yount, 26, Chula on a probation warrant out of Jackson County, MO. Mr. Yount was taken to the Daviess/DeKalb County Jail.
November 4 a deputy went to a residence in Chillicothe to serve a civil paper and was allegedly confronted by a male at the residence. The deputy subsequently arrested Aaron J. Sannipoli, 31, Chillicothe, on a parole warrant.
November 6 a deputy made a traffic stop on Highway 65 near Leeper St. and subsequently arrested Gabriel D Martin, 27 Bogard for alleged driving while suspended Mr. Martin was processed at the LCSO and released on summons to appear in Associate Court.
November 11 a deputy made a traffic stop on LIV 415 near Highway DD and subsequently arrested Jordan Riggins, 28, Ludlow for alleged Failing to Register Motor Vehicle Annually (expired March 2016) and Driving While Suspended. Mr. Riggins was processed and released on summons to appear in Associate Court.
Traffic Citations and Warnings:
Between November 1 and November 12 deputies have conducted 30 traffic stops which have resulted in 26 warnings for such violations as speed, seat belt usage, equipment violations, license violations, and lane violations. There were five summons issued for violations of speed and license violations.
October 26 LCSO Deputy Chris Mueller put on a program for Southwest Livingston County School for grades 3rd - 6th as part of Red Ribbon Week.
October 27 LCSO Chief Deputy Michael Claypole, Captain Sindy Fitzpatrick, Sgt. Larry Stobbs with St. Joseph, MO Police Department/ Midland Empire Alcohol Task Force and Tammy Meneely with MoDOT put on a program for Southwest Livingston County School for grades 7th -12th as part of Red Ribbon Week. Part of this program included a presentation about “Making Good Choices”. After the program students participated in an activity involving the Fatal Vision Goggles and/ or a driving simulator. The driving simulator was brought by Sgt. Stobbs with the Midland Empire Alcohol Task Force.
November 9 LCSO had 3 officers covering courthouse security and bailiff duties. The LCSO had 16 detainees appear in Livingston County Associate Court before the Honorable James Valbracht.
November 10 Chief Deputy Michael Claypole coordinated efforts with Midland Empire Alcohol Task Force to have a two hour responsible alcohol beverage server training presented in Chillicothe. This training is presented by St. Joseph, MO Police Department Sgt. Larry Stobbs as part of the Midland Empire Alcohol Task Force and those in attendance received a certificate of completion for attending the training. Another Training date will be scheduled in the future if any businesses have individuals that would like to attend.
