November 07 a deputy made a traffic stop for equipment violation. The driver was subsequently cited for alleged Driving While Suspended and released pending Court appearance.
November 07 deputy investigated report of dog running loose in Chula and killing neighbor’s chickens. Deputies had warned the dog owner on a previous incident. Citation was issued to dog owner for alleged failing to maintain control of an animal.
November 08 the LCSO began an investigation of reported Domestic Violence/Assault at a location in Chula. Subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Thomas Leroy Veeder, 53, Chula for alleged Domestic Assault. Mr. Veeder was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail pending formal charges.
November 09 a deputy investigated a report of Peace Disturbance and Trespassing in Mooresville where unknown person wrote a derogatory comment in the dust on a vehicle. Investigation continues.
November 10 a citizen reported property damage to their parked car. Investigation continues.
November 14 the LCSO responded to a call of attempted suicide in the northwest part of Livingston County. Investigation shows the subject allegedly attempted prescription overdose and was transported by ambulance for care.
November 14 the LCSO began an investigation of stolen prescription medication from a residence in Dawn. Person of interest identified and victim does not want prosecution.
November 18 Kansas City Police arrested a male suspect that had allegedly been in possession of a stolen ATV from the Bedford area which burglary/theft had previously been reported to the LCSO. Additional investigation is taking place.
November 06 the LCSO served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Rebecca A. Kirkpatrick, 54, Chillicothe for alleged class C felony Possession of Controlled Substance. Ms. Kirkpatrick was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail in lieu of bond.
November 08 LCSO arrested Christopher James Burns, 24, Powersville, MO on a Grundy County arrest warrant for alleged misdemeanor Passing Bad Check.
November 18 LCSO and Chillicothe PD went to a location in the 800 block of Calhoun where we found and arrested Emily Sue Kramer, 22, Chillicothe, on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions on original felony charge of Assault 2nd Degree. Ms. Kramer was subsequently transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.
Currently the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office has 40 people in custody at the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.
