Deputy Detective Eric Menconi
Eric is a graduate of the Moberly Area Community College Law Enforcement Training Center and in 2002 started his career as a Patrol Officer for the Marceline, Missouri, Police Department. From 2003 to 2011, Eric was employed with the Audrain County Sheriff's Office in Mexico, Missouri as a Deputy and later earned the rank of Sergeant. While working for the Audrain County Sheriff's Office, he served as a Detective, Field Training Officer (FTO), Supervisor of the Cadet Program, and a member of the Audrain County Sheriff's Office Response Entry Arrest and Control Team (R.E.A.C.T). Since 2011, Eric has been employed as a Deputy with the Livingston County Sheriff's Office.
Eric has received advanced training through the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC), the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the United States Department of Justice. Among his regular duties, Eric is also a Specialist Instructor for the Moberly Area Community College Law Enforcement Training Center and the Missouri Sheriff's Association Training Academy.
Eric was promoted to the position of Detective on March 01, 2013 and does an outstanding job for the citizens of Livingston County.
